Marc and Gareth’s beautiful sunny wedding took place at The Chilli Barn on Otley Chevin, Yorkshire in July last summer and it was a fabulous day to remember for all the right reasons! Both grooms looked the business in their linen suits and the flowers provided by Leafy Couture adorned the Chilli Barn as well as Marc and Gareth’s lapels.
Their day began with an official ceremony taken by the registrar from Leeds City Council with only myself and the witnesses present. It was an extra-special moment to capture as our couple said their I Do’s and signed the official marriage certificate.
Friends and family began to arrive shortly after and the real fun started as their celebration was led by a close friend with beautiful readings and music by their talented family members including a cellist and singer.
After the ceremony we lined up outside for a confetti shot in the sunshine followed by drinks and canapés and lawn games in the grounds. The Chilli Barn is a fabulous spot for a wedding offering incredible views over Otley and the Wharfe Valley, not a bad backdrop when the Yorkshire sun shines as hard as it did for Marc and Gareth. We had al fresco speeches on the lawn before heading into the barn for some delicious food, not to forget our delicious ice cream vendor Sweet Treats who brought the good stuff! The day finished with a live band and dancing aplenty with lots of cake and various desserts for all to enjoy.
A humongous congratulations and thank you to Marc and Gareth for having me along to take their photos and to all the staff at The Chilli Barn for helping out and looking after me all day long. I can’t wait to return this summer for another gorgeous wedding!
